Picture of the end of the world!

Oups!

If someday an astronaut sees from the Moon a scene like this one, his chances of survival are pretty slim.

It makes a nice picture of the end of the world though.

At first sight, I thought the picture represented the explosion of an atomic bomb, but it looks like it represents a huge meteorite hitting the Earth. Are you seeing this too in that picture of the end of the world?
