Of course you know about the YouTube Videos website. An incredible website where you can store video, look at them, share them, etc. So good in fact that Google bought the company in 2006. And not at a small price: 1.6 billions dollars. Some will say it was much too expensive, but Google had plenty of money to buy it.

Anyway, where was I. Oh, yes:  YouTube offices. Zak just sent me via email 12 pictures of YouTube offices in California. After seeing these pictures, would you be interested in working at Youtube?

And yes, we can guess that working at YouTube / Google pays well, they do not just have a cool working environment. But I’m pretty sure they don’t have that much spare time at work to watch lots of YouTube videos at work…

Hum.. Workers safety does not seem to be a priority everywhere. But at least this man is doing his best to protect his face. He even has gloves!

We can presume that this picture has been taken in China, or a country in Asia, where laws are less inclined to help and protect workers…

Successful managers and high executives will confirm, managing priorities is very important. Employees have lots of work to do, but deciding what is the the most urgent thing to do is not always easy. That is why “Priorities management” training are often offered to employees.

Totally incredible. The boss told us “Don’t worry if you hear strange noises at the office these days, a construction company was hired to add more room to the building.  This way, we’ll be able to hire more people!”

Interesting, right? Normally, we don’t hear good news like these at the office, especially in time of financial crisis, where many people are afraid to lose their job. So if the boss wants to hire more people at the office, chances are you will not get fired!

Well, that was not such good news after all… See by yourself the pictures of the office furniture when the construction began…

Work overload at the office? Come on, stop whining! Working a little bit more is not going to kill you!

Just begin right now. Do some paperwork this morning, and don’t forget the useless daily meeting. Do some more work in the afternoon, and some more in the evening. Night is the best, since you are not disturbed by your colleagues.

Just keep on doing this for a few months, until you are easily irritated, tired and impatient.  Then we will fire you, without forgetting to tell you that you have a bad attitude.

Hum… In this case, the employee did not seem to appreciated the fact that he has been fired. The brick on the windshield of the Porsche is a sure sign of dissatisfaction.

Looking at this picture, it looks like firing an employee is something that has to be taken seriously. Geez, I’m glad I’m not an employer. But I wish I had a Porsche.

The modern life: Too true. Work, Home, Play, Sleep

Sleeping at work is a great idea. Instead of sleeping at night, wouldn’t it be better to sleep at work, while being paid, and to party all night?

If you answered “Yes” to the question, I have a solution for you! (Yes, that’s the way I am, giving free and good advices)

The solution is really simple: stickers for the eyes! Close your eyes, stick’em, and sleep!
